BEN — Modular sofa with asymmetrical chaise and separate armchair

Furni Design / Living room

BEN

Luxury made-to-measure modular sofa. Sculptural presence. Comfort to sink into.

FURNI DESIGN / BEN

Form, texture and deep softness.

BEN is a modular seating system combining expressive rounded forms with a generous sense of softness. Broad surfaces, full volumes and asymmetrical elements create a place to relax, with a composition that can evolve around the room.

Wool upholstery emphasises the curves, back cushions bring an informal feel, and individual modules set the rhythm of the interior. BEN can anchor a living room or become an open lounge arrangement with a separate armchair and spacious chaise longue.

01 / BEN

Form that gives the room freedom

BEN combines different widths, depths and contours. The asymmetrical chaise opens up the arrangement, while rounded seating modules create linear or more expansive compositions.

The layout can respond to the architecture, windows, circulation and the way people gather. Modules can form a continuous sofa or create separate seating areas.

BEN retains its character in a single fabric or a combination of upholstery choices. A patterned module or armchair can provide an accent within a quieter composition.

02 / BEN

Deep sink-in softness with resilient support

BEN is designed for relaxed, unhurried sitting. The soft filling gradually receives the body, while layers of foam and sinuous springs provide support.

Generous seating surfaces leave room to sit, put your feet up or stretch out. Back cushions help adapt the position to your preference.

Deep sink-in describes this combination of welcoming surface softness and resilient support beneath.

03 / BEN

Feather and down in separate chambers

Feather and down are an essential part of BEN’s comfort. Separate chambers limit migration of the filling and help distribute it more evenly within the cushion.

Together with selected foams, the chambered filling creates a rich, enveloping feel when sitting or leaning back.

A silicone fibre filling option is also available. The final specification follows the preferred seating feel.

Wool upholstery as part of the design

Wool texture gives the surfaces depth and highlights the transitions between seats, side contours and back cushions.

Light tones emphasise the soft volumes, while expressive patterns allow a more individual arrangement. The sofa and armchair can share a visual language without identical upholstery.

Abrasion resistance and available protective treatments are specified for the selected upholstery and intended use.

05 / BEN

Quality beneath the upholstery

The soft contours conceal a solid wood structure with suitable fittings and supports. Sinuous springs and carefully selected foams form the foundation of the seating system.

Selected materials of German origin are incorporated into the specification, coordinating structure, filling and upholstery for stability, resilience and finish.

06 / BEN

Made to measure. Composed around your life.

BEN can be made to measure, with dimensions, module layout, upholstery and filling tailored to the project.

The process starts with the room: the required seating, circulation, direction of views and space for reclining. The composition is developed around those needs while retaining BEN’s character.

BEN is a designer modular sofa from the Furni Design collection, created for generous relaxation and a personal expression of luxury.
